9/18 NYC Buddy Walk 2021 Information

Dear Friends,

Your support has meant the world to us these past years as you’ve followed Hope’s story, months as you’ve checked in on life following her classroom trauma, and weeks as you’ve rallied to our Hope Prevails fundraising page for the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) NYC Buddy Walk 2021.

Tomorrow is the big day! There are at least two teams sneaking up on our lead—please don’t allow them a photo finish!! (Just a little friendly competition, since our fundraised dollars all go to the same, amazing organization.) But there is truly nothing I want more than to tell our local community that we are here to stay and that this town and all it has to offer is for Hope, too.

If you’ve already stopped by and made a donation, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. If you haven’t, there’s still plenty of room down there! Please head over to https://give.ndss.org/team/364889 to keep Hope on top where she belongs. We need this, and we need you.

Hope’s photo might be going to Times Square, but we will be home celebrating this virtual event and with all the glory it deserves. The slideshow airs on the NDSS Facebook page at 9:30am, and Hope’s photo is supposed to appear sometime between 9:40-9:50am. This is the entire schedule NDSS has shared for Buddy Walk day:

Thank you for being you, for helping us be us, and for joining our downright fantastic journey.

With love,
Elena & Matt

Thanks to you and your effort, we were able to proudly display our lawn sign out in front of our house this week. A Croy family first!
